Antique Moldovan Rug "Rosemary and Lilies "
This rare olive antique rug was weaved by Maria's grandmother in the 1920s. The wool was colored with natural dyes, sourced by the knowledgeable carpet weavers at the time. The exquisite olive-toned rug arrangement is accentuated by a double floral frame - the outer frame consists of a haulm of red and green leaves, roses and marigolds and the inner frame represents branched lilies, roses and other field florals. The central elements is a rich medallions adorned with a crimson peony, roses and violets.
