Vintage Gagauz Rug "3 Roses"
Vintage carpet from the Gagauz Yeri autonomous region in Southern Moldova. Made by Nadia in the village of Gaidar, the carpet was woven together with her mother in the 1970s. The rug arrangement is bordered by a double zigzag belt and rose garland frame. The field of the rug is decorated with three imposing and dramatic medallions: three bouquets of bright fuchsia roses.
