Outstanding vintage Moldovan kilim weaved in the Ukrainian style by Efimia featuring the archaic motif of the “wheel of fire”. The ornament is an open composition sectioned into horizontal registers, alternated dimensionally, chromatically and decoratively. the composition features motifs of stylized flowers, rhomboids with “hooks”, zigzags, stripes, and and the central motif: three identical “wheels of fire”.
